Wedding booking season is here! I get so excited to meet new couples and schedule fall and winter engagement sessions like this one. If you are interested in getting a cup of coffee and telling me all about your wedding plans, please drop us a line. I would love the opportunity to photograph your big day!
Oh my, what a fabulous wedding at Planet Bluegrass. I just adore this couple and I’ve never laughed so hard during wedding speeches! Lexie and Garrett, I know you two will find a lifetime of happiness together. Thank you for inviting me to be a part of your celebration. There are so many images I love, it was hard to just pick a few.
A shout out to these AMAZING wedding vendors:

And a huge thank you to my second shooter, Maddie Mae Photography. You are seriously talented.
I loved this springtime Chautauqua Wedding. Gina was a gorgeous, classic bride and the location is one of my favorites. Thank you to Maddie Mae Photography for your exceptional skill as a second photographer.
Catherine was so lovely to photograph. What a fun change of pace for me to take dance portraits in a beautiful location. It would be my pleasure to take more photographs of dancers!
The 52 Project will now be posted at my photography education site, Photo Camp. Please head over there to follow along or to find some creative inspiration of your own.
Just a couple cute ones to share from a recent maternity shoot in Boulder. Baby girl was born just before Christmas! I always feel such excitement for first time parents as they embark on the amazing journey of parenthood. There is so much I want to tell them, but of course I know they must find their own way. The only wisdom that really feels helpful is to be present and just enjoy as much of it as you can…because the first year will be a blur before you know it.
Oh, the light at this engagement session in Boulder was so lovely. And Lexi and Garrett could not have been more fun to photograph. I am SO excited to finally shoot their wedding at Planet Bluegrass in Lyons next summer. It’s one of those venues I’ve always wanted to shoot.
It’s hard to believe just a short time ago we were splashing in creeks and frolicking in fields. I’m working on the holiday orders over here and feeling excited to be helping my clients get prints and canvas on their walls! My vision has always been to create heirlooms, not digital files. But even I struggle choosing which images to print, how to hang them and in what sizes. It’s tough. And so the images sit on the computer where they are rarely enjoyed. Sometimes we just need a little help taking the next step. Most of my clients realize right away which images they REALLY love and that’s where we start. It turns out to be much easier than people think to build a simple family photo wall. Yahoo.
Elopements are some of my favorite wedding events to photograph. I feel so honored to be invited in to such an intimate affair. Lauren and Cody were married at Chautauqua, with their immediate families to witness. And me, of course!
