This gorgeous Colorado Elopement was so much fun! Rachel and Tom came all the way from Australia (with their moms!) to elope in Boulder, Colorado. Chatauqua is the perfect colorado elopement location. Lisa Hunter was the officiant for the ceremony and she is so grounded, fun and personal in her approach to elopements. It was such a treat to be a part of such an intentional, intimate wedding and I hope I get to photograph many more Colorado elopements in 2018. If you are planning a similar intimate wedding, please check out my website for more information about my Colorado Elopement Packages.
I love a winter wedding! Granted, it’s always a bit chilly trying to get the photos taken, but there is something so intimate and beautiful about a wedding in the winter months.
Jesse and Seth and all of their friends created such a meaningful, elegant celebration at the Gold Hill, Inn outside of Boulder, Colorado. It was a magical day.

Emily and Deepak are truly two of the kindest and most welcoming people I have ever met. What a dream it was to photograph their beautiful farm wedding at Lone Hawk Farm. Every handmade detail of this DIY wedding was planned and orchestrated by family or friends. Isn’t that the best! I was so lucky to be invited to be a part of the celebration. Just a few images to share from this incredible wedding of two inspiring humans. The intention they brought to their ceremony and the entire day was amazing to witness. I left this wedding feeling so full of love and found myself making a wish for my sons to find this kind of true, unconditional, unshakable love. To see more from this wedding, click here.

Tom and Jake’s wedding was so emotional and fun! Two cool things: 1) I have known Tom since he was..hmmmm..8! His older sister is my best friend from childhood. 2) This wedding happened about one week after they legalized gay marriage in Colorado. Yay! The first offically legal gay wedding that I have had the honor to photograph. It was beautiful in every way.

The moment I will remember the most from Courtney and Amy’s wedding was the toast give by Courtney’s father. He had the whole house crying as far as I could tell. He talked about the significance of his daughter being able to marry the women she loved. In front of family and friends. And in accordance with the law. He talked about how society evolves and he recalled a time when his new bride couldn’t apply for her own credit card. And a time when a black person couldn’t chose to legally marry a white person. Change. It’s hard for humans. But, I am proud to be a person who with an open heart welcomes the opportunity to photograph weddings of any kind. Love is love is love is love. And where would we be without love?

These two have many years of blissful love in front of them. It was a pleasure to work with Alexan Events on this wedding at Spruce Mountain Ranch. The Alexan Event team does an incredible job with all the decor and details.

Ali and Farhad, what a joyful celebration to photograph! I am so happy for you both to start your lives as husband and wife. The Ritz Carlton Denver did a beautiful job orchestrating the event and Ivy Lane Florals created some unbelievable bouquets.
I loved this springtime Chautauqua Wedding. Gina was a gorgeous, classic bride and the location is one of my favorites. Thank you to Maddie Mae Photography for your exceptional skill as a second photographer.
